Diablo Immortal gameplay videos that i personally hadn't seen until recently. I do find it odd that Blizzard allowed Streamers outside the United States to. Yeah, I've been looking at this as well. It looks eerily similar and I wouldn't be surprised if this was based on that game's foundations. There are some differences but in many ways they look alike. It is possible that Blizzard saw Crusaders of Light, noticed how it was a carbon copy of World of WarCraft and decided to try and prevent NetEase from doing a Diablo mobile clone without getting.

To see previous AMAs,. They're trying to backpedal after all of this backlash, according to the sources before blizzcon it was 2 projects, the nintendo switch, and now as we've learnt, this mobile garbage theyre trying to punt! They've had 6 years to develop either an addon or D4, yet they outsourced this sht to some chinese developer.

They deserve ALL the backlash they get! Activision is probably also to blame since they're also part of the CoDBOPS4 no single player situation. Theyre getting greedier and lazier!. I will never forget that sc2 was sold at 110$ in my country preorder, and then the next day when it came out, every retailer started bundling it with other games because it was too expensive to sell alone, and used it as a way to clear old stock.1 month later, sc2 WoL was reduced to an 'acceptable' 80ish dollars because fuck everyone who preordered.not to mention the shit launch event i wasted 3 hours of my life attending. Those who were there to collect their pre-orders who made to stand outside of the building, in the sunny morning when it was drizzling while they had events for everyone else INSIDE the building.way to fuck us fans over.guess whos not your fan anymore?.

'I was tempted to get it, but the S$109 pre-order price for the game and beta key was a little steep. The dog-tag souvenir was not enticing enough for me to pay upwards of S$100+, so without more shiny stuff, I passed. Hopefully, when the game comes out on July 27th, it will be more reasonably priced.' Another linklike i said, the price of the game went down to around 70-80$ one month after it was released, and every retailer here was selling it as a bundle with some random game because 100$ for a game in 2010 was ridiculous. They need to drop this analogy with Hearthstone.

Hearthstone wasn't even announced at Blizzcon. For Hearthstone, they made a small announcement and made it clear it was something new, not part of their main franchisees. The reaction was mixed, sure, but Blizzard was careful to manage expectations in that case and everything was fine. This time around, they totally fucked up. Diablo fans are desperate for the next in the series after D3 was mediocre and RoS was years ago.

This year, they hyped the community expectations, tried to manage them way too late, and then closed out the opening ceremonies with this dud. I don't know what they were thinking.I hope Blizzard is only mentioning Hearthstone for damage control and they don't actually believe that DI is it same thing. They handled those announcements totally differently and the response reflects that.

I'd say the backlash has less to do with people wanting a Diablo 3 sequel, and more to do with Diablo 3 having already upset people because much it seemed motivated by money. The art style and content was less mature and more vibrantly colorful to appeal to a broader audience, the always online connection seemed to exist to deter piracy, and the auction house forced an online economy. If Diablo fans embraced Diablo 3 like Warcraft fans embraced WoW, a mobile thing probably would just be shrugged at, even if announced at Blizzcon. I disagree that the backlash is centered around the money aspect of D3's launch. It's simply centered around the fact that D3 has so clearly been pushed to the bottom of Blizzard's priorities that fans were wanting some love for their franchise. Combined with job postings for Diablo projects and Blizzard themselves hyping up 'multiple projects,' the fans were expecting something more than an outsourced mobile game.It isn't about 'if Diablo fans embraced D3 like Warcraft fans embraced WoW' and more like if Blizzard supported Diablo like they supported Warcraft then the fans wouldn't be upset about spinoffs/mobile games. Exactly they said earlier (I beleive summer) that there were multiple Diablo projects in the works and that would be announced.

We got a switch port of D3 and a mobile reskin of a existing chinese D3 clone. Its fine they made a mobile game but what is absolutely shitty is saving it for the end (WC3 and WoW Classic shouldve been then), they made it seem like we would see something substantial in a franchise that most people (rightly) feel is the red headed stepchild that Blizzard just inherited from Blizzard North.
