Survival Arena by Game Insight is an intense defend your assets game for as long as you can. Starting from Sudden Death mode, there is Duel 2.0, Wi-Fi Duel, King Zinx, Thunderdome and special weekend arena to unlock and play by completing missions in Task List. It’s a fight between pirates for Skyshards extractors. Skyshards is the thing that basically helps you achieve items that allow you to grow bigger and better, so you can imagine how valuable they are.

The basic game play is to protect your extractor that has only 1 life. An arena is created on a sea ship with barrels that has your extractor on one side, and pirates’ entrance on one. All factions of pirates, big and strong, small and many, and bouncy and fast, emerge in waves and head towards the extractor. With one slash of any pirate’s weapon, the game ends. All you need to do is stop the pirates from getting to the extractor as long as you can, and collect as many Skyshards as possible. You can do so by installing defense towers in pirates’ way in the form of a maze, but keeping a way opened towards the extractor at all costs.

Starting from a basic defense tower like cannon, there are much more bigger and better towers and ammo to unlock and use on pirates. Tower icons are displayed on bottom left of screen and ammo icons on right; simply drag and drop where you wish to launch your defenses. Ammos take a fixed time to reload, but towers cost gear to install and upgrade which is collected by killing pirates. The more pirates you kill, the more gear you have to install more defense towers. The pirates are fast and don’t take a moment to deploy next wave, so you better stay on your heels at all times to kill each and every one of them before they make it to the extractor.

Weapons on the whole are upgraded by collecting Skyshards and cards from reward chests. An upgrade improves the Damage, Reload Time, DPS, Range, Targets, Health, Gear Cost and Cool Down Time of a weapon. There are also heroes to unlock through the reward chests that fight the pirates in Survival Arena; heroes resurrect in a short while if killed to continue defending the extractor.
